What AI-Cited Web Pages Have in Common: 72% More Likely to Show a 'Last Updated' Date

The web pages ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Mode cite are 72% more likely to show a visible "last updated" date than top-ranking Google results for the same questions that no AI engine cited. They are also more likely to carry an FAQ section, a table and a named author, and less likely to be thin, while more statistics, embedded video and an answer in the first lines show no advantage.
