# Website Design Company

We build sites judged on the inquiries they bring in, not on how they look.

We plan, design and build websites around the actions that grow the business: inquiries, bookings, sales and qualified leads. You see the template count, scope and cost before work starts.

• What we do

## What Our Website Design Services Include

A full project covers strategy, design, build and handover. These six pieces are in every project, whatever the size.

(06)

### • Discovery and journey mapping

We start with your analytics and your sales team rather than a mood board. That shows what visitors actually come to do.

### • Structure and wireframes

We map the page structure and the route to an inquiry before any visual work starts.

### • Visual design and a design system

Your brand applied across every template and screen size, documented as components your team can build the next page from.

### • Build on the right platform

WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or custom code, chosen in discovery rather than by habit. We wire the CMS, forms, analytics and CRM as we build.

### • Search foundations in the template

Semantic markup, one H1 per page, clean URLs and schema get settled once, inside each template. Every page built on it inherits them.

### • Handover, training and aftercare

You get the logins, the source files, a recorded walkthrough for every editing task, and thirty days of cover.

See our process •

• Common problems

## What might be holding your current site back

These are the six things owners describe most often when they call us. Every one costs you customers.

Diagnose my site •

01

### It loads too slowly on a phone

Heavy themes, oversized images and stacked scripts add seconds on a mobile connection. Most people will not wait, and you never see the visit.

02

### Visitors read it and do nothing

When a page offers three or four next steps, most people take none. One clear action turns reading into an inquiry. Many small business sites do not even offer a form: 68.1% of US small business websites have no contact form on their homepage or the two pages linked from it (Contact Forms study (https://www.suffdigital.com/resources/data-studies/contact-form-field-count)).

03

### It looks older than your business is

Stock photography and a dated layout make a strong company look like a weak one. Buyers reach that judgement in seconds.

04

### You cannot change anything yourself

Every small edit turns into a request and a wait, because the content model was built for a developer, not for your team.

05

### Search engines struggle to read it

Content that only appears after scripts run, thin markup and messy URLs all make a site harder to index. The traffic goes to competitors.

06

### Some visitors cannot use it at all

Low contrast, tiny tap targets and forms that need a mouse shut out real customers, and in the US they create legal exposure.

• How the work runs

## Our Website Design Process

(06)

Phase 01

Week 1-2

### Template and task inventory

We count the templates the site really needs, which is rarely your page count, and list what visitors come to do. You leave with an inventory, a goal per template and a signed roadmap. The week ranges shown on these steps are an estimate of a typical build rather than a final schedule, and your actual dates are agreed in the proposal.

Phase 02

Week 2-4

### Structure and conversion mapping

Low-fidelity layouts go to stakeholders for approval here. Signing off flows at this stage costs far less than signing off finished designs.

Phase 03

Week 4-7

### Design and clickable prototype

High-fidelity designs across every template and screen size, plus a prototype you can click. We also draw the states a static design hides: empty, error and very long content.

Phase 04

Week 6-10

### Build and integrations

We build the front end on the agreed platform and wire the CMS, forms, analytics and CRM as we go. Every integration is proved with a real submission, never a mock.

Phase 05

Week 10-11

### Pre-launch checks

Cross-browser and real-device passes on every template, accessibility checked by tool and by hand, and Core Web Vitals, which are Google's three scores for load speed, tap responsiveness and layout stability, measured template by template. Fail those and phone visitors leave before they have read a word. You sign a written checklist before a go-live date is agreed.

Phase 06

Week 11-12+

### Launch and the first month

DNS, SSL and redirects go over without downtime, then we watch the site for 72 hours and track index coverage for a month. Those first fixes are included.

Get started •

• The question everyone asks first

### What sets the price, before you get on a call.

Web design pricing is the hardest thing to find written down and the first thing you want to know. Our projects run from $1,500 to $75,000, and the lower end is small sites and startups. Four things move a quote within that span, none of them your page count, and the line-item view is in our website design pricing guide (https://www.suffdigital.com/resources/guides/website-design-pricing).

•

Ask what unit the quote is priced in

•

Ask what gets billed later, and at what rate

•

Ask who writes the content, and by when

• What you own afterwards

### A design system keeps paying long after launch day.

A stack of pages starts ageing on launch day. A documented component system does not, because your team keeps shipping new pages from it and the next agency extends it instead of starting again.

•

Components documented so a new page needs no designer

•

Content structured so any future move is an export

•

A page your team ships next year still looks like it belongs

> “I can't say enough good things about Matt Suffoletto and the team at Suff Digital. I've worked with Matt for years, and his knowledge, expertise, and professionalism are second to none. He truly understands SEO, website management, and digital marketing at a level that delivers real results. Matt helped me get my DJ business ranked on the first page and even the number one spot on Google in an industry with thousands of competing DJs. Those results had a tremendous impact on my business. Most recently, on Memorial Day, my website came under attack from internet hackers. I sent Matt an email expecting a delayed response because of the holiday, but he replied almost immediately, identified the problem, took action, and resolved the issue before it could cause further damage. If you're looking for a digital marketing and web services company that delivers results and stands behind its clients, I highly recommend Suff Digital.”

Scott KingBusiness Owner

• The long version

## What website design actually involves in 2026

The long version, for anyone working out how much of a rebuild they actually need.

Most sites that need work do not need a redesign. They need the two or three things that decide whether a visitor ever gets to the point of asking you for something.

### The build stopped being the expensive part.

Templates, component libraries and page builders made production cheap. What did not get cheaper is deciding what each page has to prove, in what order, to somebody who has never heard of you.

That is why a plain site that answers the question beats a current-looking one that does not. When we are asked to quote a redesign, the first thing we try to establish is whether the design is the constraint at all. Often the pages exist and nobody can find them, or they load slowly enough that half the visitors leave before deciding anything.

### Speed and layout stability are commercial problems now.

Google measures what real visitors experience rather than a lab score, against three thresholds it publishes: largest contentful paint under 2.5 seconds, interaction to next paint under 200 ms, and cumulative layout shift under 0.1.

Those are worth knowing because they describe how a page feels to use. A layout that shifts while it loads makes people tap the wrong thing. A form that takes a moment to respond gets abandoned mid-way. Neither shows up in a design review, and both show up in the enquiry count.

### Content models date faster than visual design.

If your team, your services and your locations are stored as pages, every change is manual and every new page is a fresh decision. Stored as structured records, one edit updates everywhere that fact appears.

This is the part that decides whether the site is still workable in year three, and it is the part most quotes never mention. Ask anyone bidding for the work how a new service line gets added after launch, and who has to be involved.

How many distinct templates the design needs, which is not your page count. How much content gets written or migrated. Which integrations must work on day one. And whether your team runs the site afterwards or we do. Any website design agency quoting before it has counted your templates is guessing."

The tiers are usually set by page count, which is why two quotes for one job look nothing alike. We charge a fixed project price between $1,500 and $75,000, fixed in writing before work starts. Ask any website design company what its own unit is, and what it bills for after launch. More detail sits in our website design pricing guide."

WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Squarespace and custom code are all on the table. The choice shows up in search basics too: 89% of Webflow business homepages pass all four basic SEO checks, the best of any platform with 200 or more websites, against 62% of WordPress homepages (CMS SEO Pass Rates study).
