Magento SEO services
Compare Magento and Shopify from the search side before choosing where the store goes next.
Move your store off an old Magento version without losing your catalog detail, your customer accounts or your search rankings.
We audit attributes, store views, custom logic, B2B pricing and URL rules before the new store is built, then migrate products, customers and orders in checked batches. Magento migration services should make the commercial parts of the store safer, not just copy the catalog.
Magento Migration Services
Anyone can move product records. Magento migration services earn their fee on the part after that: proving your customer group pricing, your promotions and your B2B rates still produce the right totals on the new platform. Most quotes never mention it, which is why the first time anyone checks is when a customer complains about an invoice.

Six pieces of work decide whether your store arrives intact.
Attributes, attribute sets and input types mapped across deliberately, with anything the new platform cannot hold named and decided before the build.
Each view assessed as a separate storefront, a sales channel or a candidate to merge, with the search implications settled in the same conversation.
Groups, segments and the pricing attached to them rebuilt on the new platform, then cross-checked against orders those customers placed.
Catalog rules, cart rules, tier pricing and special prices re-expressed in the new platform's model and proved against your past order totals.
We separate the behaviour you depend on from code the store no longer uses, and rebuild only what matters.
Products, customers and orders move in batches, each reconciled against the source, so nothing accumulates unnoticed across a long import.
These six problems are what make a Magento migration expensive when they are found late.
Diagnose my site •Magento describes products in far more detail than most platforms allow. Move without planning and that detail collapses into plain text, so filters stop working and comparison tables lose their source. Product counts can still match while useful detail is missing.
Every filter and sort combination has its own web address, so a mid-sized catalog has far more addresses than products. Handle them with a blanket rule and the combinations earning you traffic land on pages that are close but wrong.
Store views for different countries, languages or brands share the same products. Move them without deciding which is the main version, and Google sees near-identical stores splitting traffic one store would have kept.
Pricing rules, delivery logic and integrations sit in custom modules written years ago by people who have moved on. An export carries what those modules produced, not what they do, so behaviour you depend on disappears.
Customer groups, tier pricing and negotiated rates are the most expensive thing to get wrong, because the customers who notice are the ones who spend most. A migration that reconciles perfectly can still bill your largest account wrong.
Magento keeps order data in more than one place, and an export that reads only part of it produces records missing their line items or status. Support and finance find out weeks later.
Attributes, store views, customer groups, price rules, every extension and the systems connected to them. We also crawl your storefront for the addresses it really serves, including filter pages no export lists. The week ranges beside each step are an estimate. Your real dates are agreed in the proposal.
Attributes and attribute sets get matched to the new platform, and anything that cannot come across gets a decision: restructure, simplify or retire. Your store view structure is settled in the same pass.
Each batch is reconciled against the source before the next runs. We compare the result to your live store for page titles, content depth and internal links, fixing problems at template level so one change carries everywhere.
Customer groups, tier pricing, negotiated rates and any B2B workflow get checked against orders you have already taken: same account, same product, same expected total. Live test orders run end to end.
Where several store views exist we move them in sequence, smallest first. The domain switches on a shortened DNS setting, and you agree the point at which we would roll back before each phase opens.
Orders, conversion rate and category page performance get compared against the numbers from before the move. Filter pages get their own checks because they carry much of your non-branded traffic.
The difference is control against maintenance. Magento gives you a product structure you can extend and infrastructure you own, and you are responsible for all of it. Shopify gives you a managed platform and a fixed structure you work inside. Which is stronger for search is a separate question, and we answer it on our page about Magento SEO and how it compares with Shopify.
Magento migration services are worth buying for the failures they prevent. If a store view launch breaches the limits you set beforehand, we put that phase back using a rollback we already practised.
Magento migration services should leave you with the plan, checks and evidence behind the new store.
Compare Magento migration services by how they map attributes, replay real orders, protect store views and test the new store before launch.
Send us your Magento version, store view setup and attribute count. We will tell you what survives the move and what needs redesigning. Our own fee for the move, which is not what a platform costs to run, falls between $2,500 and $75,000, and the lower end is small sites and startups. Your attribute structure, your store view count and the amount of custom code to rebuild decide where you land.
The paid edition is now called Adobe Commerce, after Adobe bought Magento and rebranded it. The self-hosted, open-source edition is still called Magento Open Source. Both run on the same codebase, so the real decision is not the name. It is whether you keep hosting and patching the platform yourself.
Tell us your version, your store view setup and what worries you. We will come back with a scope and a price.
